VISA APPLICATION
As you prepare for PACTALS 2025 and the Care Forum in Melbourne, Australia (7-9 September 2025), we'd like to
remind you to apply for your Australian visa as early as possible to avoid delays. Some Visa application guide
as below for your reference:
- Visit the Official Website of the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs website at https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/
- Australian passport holders do not need a visa to enter Australia. New Zealand citizens with a valid New Zealand passport do not need to
apply for a visa before coming to Australia; more information is available here: entry requirements for New Zealand Citizens
- All other passport holders need the right visa to come to Australia. You also need to get your visa before
you travel to Australia.
- Select the correct type of Visitor Visas based on your passport eligibility and travel plans.
- If you are unsure which Visa is right for you, please use the Visa Finder
- Depending on your Visa type, apply your Visa via the website or official ETA app. You may download the
Australian ETA app for free from the Apple Store (Apple) or Google Play store (Android)
- Create an account on ImmiAccount, the
online portal for managing your application with the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
- Documents that you may need for your Visa application:
- Passport
- Flight itinerary and accommodation details
- Congress invitation letter (Kindly email to secretariat@pactalscongress.com should you need one)
- Financial statement
- You also need to ensure that you meet the health and character entry requirements.
BIOSECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Australia has strict requirements on the food, plant materials or animal products that can enter or leave the
country. Learn about those requirements on the following websites:

- Please note that the application fees vary depending on the visa type.
- Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded to your application and monitor your ImmiAccount for any
requests for additional information. The Department of Home Affairs will notify you of the outcome.
